American scout health survival Badge

1¡¢ American scout


1. Life scout Medal: it is awarded to the first-class Boy Scouts with five kinds of merit badges, including first-aid badge, track and field badge, life-saving badge, personal health badge and public health badge. 2. Star scout Medal: it is awarded to the first-class scout who has obtained 10 functional badges. These 10 badges must include 5 merit badges in the life scout medal.


3. Eagle Scout Medal: awarded to all first-class boy scouts who have obtained 21 functional badges. This medal represents a boy scout who is excellent in all aspects.


II. Badge and acquisition requirements:


1. First aid Badge:


1) know how to correctly use Sylvester and Sheffield artificial respiration;


2) be able to go down the stairs with one person on his back;


3) know how to bandage the head and ankle;


4) understand the nursing methods of severe internal bleeding caused by neck injury;


5) know how to deal with leg blood vessel swelling without massive bleeding;


6) know how to deal with the blood vessel swelling of the leg caused by severe internal bleeding;


7) know how to deal with fingers bitten by mad dogs;


8) know how to disconnect an electric shock victim from the wire connected to him;


9) know how to stop bleeding with a tourniquet on the main artery;


10) inform how to deal with snake bites;


11) pass the first aid level test of the American Red Cross.


2. Track and field Badge:


1) write a paper of no less than 500 words on how to train a track and field event;


2) be able to speak the basic rules of a field sport and a track sport;


3) formulate corresponding track and field training standards in combination with their own weight, physique classification and basic physical conditions.


3. Life saving Badge:


1) be able to dive to a depth of 5-7 feet and lift a bag of 5 pounds of sand from the bottom to the surface;


2) be able to swim a distance of 200 yards, of which 100 yards should be in the backstroke position, and you can't stroke with your arm, while the other 100 yards can be in any swimming position.


3) 50 yards downstream when wearing clothes (at least wear shirts, trousers and shoes).


4) prove own

4. Health Badge:


1) write a report on how to care for teeth;  


2) Know the principle of diet control and understand its importance. To understand the laws that should be followed to protect health;


3) be able to tell the difference between cold bath and hot bath;


4) correctly understand and the impact of tobacco on a growing child;


5) know how to protect your feet during long-distance weight-bearing walking;


6) introduce the sports beneficial to the body and mind in No. 1 middle school and explain its advantages in detail;


7) understand the fitness effect of walking as an exercise;


8) know which sports may be unbearable to the body.


5. Public health Badge:


1) be able to tell the main causes of the following diseases: tuberculosis, typhoid fever and malaria.


2) be able to draw a diagram to illustrate how housefly infects diseases;


3) know what treatment measures should be taken when there are infectious patients at home;


4) be able to tell how to help health institutions prevent the spread of diseases as a boy scout;


5) be able to introduce the methods adopted by all their communities to deal with garbage;


6) be able to tell how a city can protect grain, cattle, meat and other sheltered food;


7) be able to explain the reasons why students must receive medical examination.


6. Agricultural Badge:


1) pass the grain test of different grades in each state;


2) cultivate at least 1 acre of corn, and 25% of it can be harvested, which is better than the general cultivation level;


3) be able to identify and describe the Common Weeds in crops and cultivated land, and say how to remove them most effectively;


4) be able to identify common pests and know how to eliminate them;


5) practical experience in ploughing, farming, sowing, fencing and drainage;


6) have working experience in operating farm machinery, including used lawn mowers, harvesters, loaders and stackers;


7) have general knowledge of the daily seasonal work of the farm, including the care of cattle, horses, sheep and pigs.


8) have a certain understanding of Campbell land farming principles, dry land farming and irrigated agriculture.


7. Fishing Badge:


1) catch 10 different kinds of fish and call their names; A method of fishing for salmon or salmon with false flies as bait; Fishing for bass, puppy fish or Barracuda requires a fishing rod with a winding wheel, while to catch North American barracuda, it is necessary to use drag fishing.
